Health Savings Account

A physician may need to recommend Acupuncture or Massage to treat a specific injury or trauma to qualify.  Please confirm these details with the company & whether a Professional Services Letter of Medical Necessity, Doctor's Directive, or Prescription is required.

Payment of services are required when rendered.  As of now, patients  must seek reimbursement from your HSA company directly.  Card Transactions are not currently available.  If you require invoices to send to your company, they can be emailed or picked up at the office.

Car Accidents

Working in Chiropractic offices throughout the Minneapolis & St. Paul areas has provided experience treating patients who have recently been in car accidents & are suffering the musculoskeletal effects.

More auto insurance companies are allowing a budgeted timeline (e.g. $2000 spent over 8 weeks) for the persons involved in a car accident to seek any treatment they find beneficial from medical doctor visits, physical therapy, Acupuncture & Massage!

When contacting insurance representatives be sure to ask for Massage Therapy to be approved for treatment in the weeks following the accident.  To prevent long term musculoskeletal effects, treatment from a chiropractor as well as a massage therapist should have the same priority as medical doctors.

Billing

Direct insurance billing is not provided.  Invoices with the insurance billing codes for treatments received can be provided directly to the insurance representative or provided for you to submit.

It's the responsibility of the patient to pay for treatment at the time of service & retain permission from the insurance company to seek Acupuncture & Massage Therapy as a reimbursable medical expense related to the accident.

If the patient receives insurance approval for services, the practitioner can contact the insurance representative & help arrange payment.

Work Injuries

Work injuries may also be treated with Acupuncture & Massage Therapy, depending on the severity.  They cannot repair structural issues like herniated disks or torn tendon - muscle - ligament.

If surgical repair is not necessary, muscle rehabilitation massage therapy may be beneficial in regaining lost muscle function & range of motion.
